The governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Raji Fashola says the state is fully ready to host the best ever National Sports Festival in the games history.

He said aside from the glamour that would characterize the games, he believes the fiesta would help to revive sports in the country as all facilities are already in place.

The 18th Nigerian National Sports Festival, tagged Eko 2012 will hold from Nov. 27 to 9th Dec. 2012.
The multi-sporting events was conceived after civil war as one of the tools use in building friendship, unity and togetherness among Nigerians.

The games is an annual events where local talents are discovered for international competitions.
The last edition took place last year in Port-Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State.
