The pupil, identified as Imiefan Omokaro, was discovered by a teacher who raised an alarm and the little girl was quickly rushed to a Winners Chapel Church where a pastor prayed for her without success.
Reports say Imiefan was finally taken to a hospital after about two hours of spiritual intervention where the nurse on duty confirmed her dead on arrival.
It was learnt that when the mother of the child came to the school to pick her daughter, the teacher said she was missing.
Omokaro Jolly, the girl’s father, said he dropped his daughter in school earlier in the day hale and hearty and he would like the school to explain to him what happened to his daughter.
According to him, “When I dropped my daughter in school, she said I should come and pick her up so that I can buy her chocolate but I can’t see my daughter now.
“I can’t bring a baby to school and they expect me to collect a lifeless baby. It is their responsibility to tell me what happened to my baby,” he said.
Imiefan’s mother, Osarogue, said, “I went to the school and asked where is my love. Nobody answered me. I asked the aunty, she told that my daughter went to the toilet.”
The matter was reported at the Etete Police Station and it was learnt that the class teacher and two nannies have been arrested.
