[photos] Goat Thief Beaten and Stripped Naked In Lagos

For trying to unsuccessfully steal a Nigerian Pygmy Goat in Lagos, a man was assaulted by the vigilant crowd, beaten and stripped naked.

Not sure if this is the way to deal with such situations, but at least there was no blood lust in this case. The man actually got away with his body intact, at least that’s till he got carted off by the authorities.

Maybe one day Nigerians will resort to the rule of law when it comes to dealing with people who engage in low level crimes, but till then, stories like these are bound to remain the norm and not the exception.
